The Blair McKeil is a modern, shallow draft, gearless bulker with two cargo holds that combine for a 15,000 mt deadweight capacity.

The ship is fitted with grain bulkheads and cement loading ports that permit her to carry a wide variety of cargoes into shallow draft ports.
